Marriage contract of Shams al-Saltanah and Muʻtamad al-Sultan, 1884
The marriage contract between Shams al-Saltanah and Muhammad ʻAli Khazin al-Mulk, son of Muhammad Rahim Khan Khazin al-Mulk, on 3 Jan 1884. The mahr includes 5000 tumans, 2000 tumans' worth of jewelry, a mansion worth 3000 tuman, and a Qurʼan worth 100 tumans. On the margin of this marriage contract there is a note stating that instead of the mansion, the wife can receive 3000 tumans in cash.
